If you aren’t sure if a Vizsla or German Shorthaired Pointer is right for you, here’s some more information about each breed:

Vizslas: A descendent of the Hungarian Kingdom, Vizslas are one of the oldest breeds of dogs. They range from 40-65 pounds and 21-24 inches in height and have a golden rust color coat. They are easy dogs to maintain and their shedding is minimal. Vizslas have a reputation for being friendly dogs that make for great companions and pets. South Side Farm handpicks each of its Vizslas from the United States and Hungary, so you always know you’re getting a beautiful, show-quality puppy.

German Shorthaired Pointers: These German dogs date back to the 1800s and typically weigh between 55 and 75 pounds and have a height of 21-25 inches. Their coat color can vary from solid liver to a combination of white and liver spotted. They can also be black or black and white, although this is less common. They have a dense coat that is easy to groom and they tend to be faithful dogs that love partaking in outdoor activities with their family. The German Shorthaired Pointers at South Side Farm are purebred and handpicked from within the U.S. and Germany.
